Dragon Chain Drop from the Kalphite Queen
I still can’t believe it finally happened, the stingy Kalphite Queen finally dropped a Dragon Chain. It was Stgdoor_Joe’s suggestion in clan chat to have a clan event to Kill the Kalphite Queen. I’m sure everyone who attended was happy they did.

I have done entire Kalphite slayer tasks on the Kalphite Queen, and heard people say they have had Dragon Chain drops, but up until now the only one I had was a much harder drop from Dust Devils. It was the first time some clan members went to the Kalphite Queen, for most it was the first chain drop. It was our first Immortal Phoenix Clan lootshare.
Gnome Advanced Course 250 Lap Reward
Nativeozzie and Moneybroker did the 250 laps without failing and got the Agile Legs reward. We made summer pies to increase agility by 5 to decrease the fail rate. You still get the same experience but there’s a delay and some small damage.

This course seems a bit easier to train on. Another big advantage is you can take a familar and grow it while training, something you cannot do at Ape Atoll.

Here’s a super screenie of Moneybroker and Nativeozzie training on the Gnome Agility course with perfect timing.

KBD Event
Chaosrulzz requested a KBD event so a group of Immortal Phoenix members decided to go. There was an amazing amount of Yew drops, but unfortunately we didn’t get the Visage drop.

KBD event stormed by a clan of Noobs
It was pretty funny when this clan invaded our KBD event. They did not get the drop though.
Immortal Phoenix Choo Choo Event
Summerangel4 thought up with the idea to have a Choo Choo clan event. She took us for a tour of runescape starting with Varrock Square. The members lined up in burgundy default clothes.

We had a lot of fun adding new friends along the way. We went for a grand tour of Runescape ending at the exchange.

Immortal Phoenix Choo Choo at the Exchange
This is what being in Immortal Phoenix is all about, having a fun time with good people.
Trying out Advanced Gnome Agility Course
Doing agility training at Ape Atoll is not fun. After getting 85 agility Moneybroker and Nativeozzie decided to try out the Advanced Gnome Agility Course.

The Gnome Agility course is pretty quick and the experience for completing it is 750 points. The points for completing a lap in Ape Atoll is 580. When you reach 75 agility you cannot fail at Ape Atoll. When you reach 89 Agility you cannot fail the Advanced Gnome Agility Course.

Dragon Claws Drop
What better way to pay for 20 K Yew logs than a quick and painless Dragon Claws Drop
Nativeozzie and Moneybroker arrived at the Tormented Demons to hear another group say they just got a claws split. That did not deter us though.
In about 30 minutes time we had our own Dragon Claws Split. We were very lucky.

The money was good for buying the logs for 99 K in Firemaking with about 5 Million to spare. We are having a firemaking contest in the clan. We are about in the halfway point in the competition.
99 Crafting Capes for Moneybroker and Nativeozzie
99 Crafting didn’t seem that hard to get. Everyday I have been collecting my 64 battle staffs after getting Varrock 3 Armor. The Pak Yak and it’s 30 inventory spots made making air orbs easy.
I also collected sand from Bert usually when I was by to do a clue in Yanille. I would speak to Arhein and pick up my 80 seaweed daily while planting crops in Catherby.

Talk about timing. We got the level at the same exact time
Some friends were on hand to help celebrate the occasion.

Also interesting point is that with the crafting cape you no longer need that ugly brown apron to enter the crafting guild. All you need to wear is your pretty new 99 Crafting Cape

Immortal Phoenix Recent Clan Events
We are a new clan but we have an enthusiastic group of people that participate a lot in events. There’s a healthy competition among members. During this Edgeville skilling event some were runecrafting in the abyss, some were smithing or crafting ore in the furnace, and some were making air orbs. Generally long after the event time is officially over people are still busy making stuff.

Edgeville skilling event August 4th, 2009
We have a firemaking contest that started August 5th and I can tell you that participants are making a big effort to win this contest. As always we took some time to just hang out and have some fun.

IP Seers WC event August 5th, 2009
Some of the other advantages of being in a clan are knowing about distractions and diversion events like the Elder Evil tree I found, and stars I scoped. These were announced in the clan chat for those members who wanted to attend.

IP star event
This star lasted almost an hour with tons of mining xp. Typically I scope 5 or 6 worlds to have a choice of several locations to find stars.

IP Clan Evil Elder tree event
I checked a few worlds and found this Elder evil tree. Several IP members took advantage of this event.

- Roldon, Stgdoor_Joe and Moneybroker at the Barrows Chest
These two gentlemen waited for me to open the chest first. All of us unfortunately got junk. However Summerangel4 on her 2nd run got Guthan’s Spear. Grats to Summerangel4

Making Guthatrice, Saratrice and Zamatrice Eggs
I’m sure if you regularly use the Kingdom of Miscellenia you have quite a collection of Green, Blue and Red eggs. However you are only allowed to grow one of them into one of the god birds. I chose the Zamorak Hawk.

Summoning Gutharice Eggs
The rest of the eggs collect in the bank and are untradeable. You might be wondering what to do with these eggs. They can be made into a Guthatrice, Saratrice, and Zamatrice Eggs. To make these you need to summon a spirit cobra pouch (which requires 63 summoning), and Ophidian Incubation scrolls in an amount equal to number of eggs you wish to make.

Summoning Saratrice Eggs

Summoning Zamatrice Eggs
The end result is you now have an item that is tradeable or useful rather than sitting in your bank with no value or usefulness. It took a short while to convert the 303 eggs into a item that is tradeable on the exchange. Also the sound of converting the eggs makes the players around you absolutely mad. So it was fun to do as well. Nativeozzie and Moneybroker picked the Wilderness Volcano as the spot to do this activity.
