Back to 90 Plus Total Level for BlondeAmazon
At first Dungeoneering and the idea of having another skill to train didn’t sound like fun. After a short bit of time getting used to the different potions, weapons, and armor it’s been a good way to train a variety of skills. It seems more like a minigame rather than a skill. The main problem is finding a team interested in playing the same style. There are teams only interested in rushing dungeons. I don’t find this way enjoyable.
BlondeAmazon achieves 90 Plus Skills
It has been a long term goal for BlondeAmazon/ Moneybroker to get all skills 90 Plus. Native Ozzie and BlondeAmazon heard rumors of a possible new skill coming out on Runescape. There was a strange happening on runescape which only added to the possibility something would happen soon to spoil this long term goal. We decided to get from 89 to 90 runecrafting before any updates on the game.
Runecrafting at the ZMI altar is one of the fastest ways to get runecrafting experience. 6 Skills remain to get 99 to max out total level.
Moneybroker reaches 2300 Total Level!
It has been a while since I have posted on my blog. I have been very busy with starting a new clan with Nativeozzie and Summerangel4. We have recently started fast non-combat stealing creation games every Friday. Plus we had a total experience contest the past two weeks.
Nativeozzie and myself gained over 7 million experience over the last two weeks while running a new clan and starting up our own fast stealing creation games. The games have been running smoothly since players must register to play. We had 1 incident of pking both sessions that ended quickly and games continued at a duration of approximately 12 minutes or less. If you are interested in registering to play the quick find code on runescape is 72-73-829-59544676. Games are held every Friday starting at 3 PM.
Obviously the sacred clay hammers were invaluable for us to get construction and smithing experience during the two week contest. It saved us a lot of time and money.

Moneybrokers Open House and Birthday Party

Players taking advantage of the Guilded Altar
The open house was a big success. I appreciate all those clan members and friends that participated in the event, from Blueemonday and Stgdoor_Joe keeping the burners lite, Tipp999 (Massive Loser) advertising the open house in the exchange. Mr Beer101 was working on mage, Roldon and Baeranu had some good fights in the Combat room. Nativeozzie organized the event, making sure clan members were aware of the event, bumped the forums, advertised the open house outside the portal, and owned in the combat room.

Stgdoor Joe keeping the burners lite
The event went beyond 2 hours with some players gaining 10 prayer levels! The house was glitchy with many chairs in the house going missing. My pets went into hiding in the Menagerie.

There was also players using the Lecturns to make Tabs, using the portals and having fun in the combat room. I got a lot of birthday wishes and even a cake baked by Blueemonday.
Gnome Advanced Course 250 Lap Reward
Nativeozzie and Moneybroker did the 250 laps without failing and got the Agile Legs reward. We made summer pies to increase agility by 5 to decrease the fail rate. You still get the same experience but there’s a delay and some small damage.

This course seems a bit easier to train on. Another big advantage is you can take a familar and grow it while training, something you cannot do at Ape Atoll.

Here’s a super screenie of Moneybroker and Nativeozzie training on the Gnome Agility course with perfect timing.

Trying out Advanced Gnome Agility Course
Doing agility training at Ape Atoll is not fun. After getting 85 agility Moneybroker and Nativeozzie decided to try out the Advanced Gnome Agility Course.

Moneybroker gets 85 Agility August 15, 2009
The Gnome Agility course is pretty quick and the experience for completing it is 750 points. The points for completing a lap in Ape Atoll is 580. When you reach 75 agility you cannot fail at Ape Atoll. When you reach 89 Agility you cannot fail the Advanced Gnome Agility Course.

99 Crafting Capes for Moneybroker and Nativeozzie
99 Crafting didn’t seem that hard to get. Everyday I have been collecting my 64 battle staffs after getting Varrock 3 Armor. The Pak Yak and it’s 30 inventory spots made making air orbs easy.
I also collected sand from Bert usually when I was by to do a clue in Yanille. I would speak to Arhein and pick up my 80 seaweed daily while planting crops in Catherby.

Talk about timing. We got the level at the same exact time
Some friends were on hand to help celebrate the occasion.

Also interesting point is that with the crafting cape you no longer need that ugly brown apron to enter the crafting guild. All you need to wear is your pretty new 99 Crafting Cape

Immortal Phoenix Skilling Get-Together in Catherby
The event started a half-hour earlier than the scheduled time. I had an evening out with the girls planned. So I asked if any of the members would keep me company… A bunch of the clan headed right over to start the Immortal Phoenix Clan skilling event early.

Blueemonday and Summerangel4 Dancing while Stgdoor_Joe Runs past
We had a fun time running around the bench and just being goofy. Some members were fletching, firemaking, fishing, and alching.

Immortal Phoenix members just like to have more fun
Members lined up for a photo opportunity Nativeozzie, Iced Hitman, Blueemonday, Stg_doorjoe, Goats R Emo, Summerangel4, and Moneybroker.

Our event leader Dragant1 was unable to attend since he was welcoming his brand new Nephew in the hospital <3, but Summerangel4 filled in nicely as the event leader
Making a Dragon Platebody
Since I’m spending a lot of time at the Tormented Demons I thought it would be a good idea to be able to make a Dragon Platebody. Nativeozzie and Moneybroker did the While Guthix Sleeps quest a while ago, but neglected to keep the key halves. It was fairly easy to get them again. We brought the key halves to a Mithril Dragon and used it on it to make it into the key.

Making the key for the mithril door
Then I used the key on the mithril door to get into the dragon forge.

Opening the door to the Dragon Forge
To make the Dragon Platebody you need a Blast Fusion Hammer. This is purchased from the foreman in Keldagrim for $1,000,000.00 coins. You also need 3 parts of ruined dragon, the shard, slice, and lump.

Dragon shard piece
It’s also necessary to do a fire wave spell on the 3 statues. First of all I don’t have the pieces, it’s not really worth it to make a platebody (2 K smithing xp), and the hammer which costs $1 Mill is only good for one use.

Dragon Forge
We are all set now to make a Dragon Platebody if the need ever arises.
